A Matter of Balance
A Matter of Balance is a national, evidence-based, injury prevention program sponosored by St. Luke's University Hospital, Adult Level 1 Trauma Center. A Matter of Balance is an 8-week course - 2 hour sessions, once a week for 8 weeks. Classes include mild exercise, discussion, problem-solving, role playing, idea-sharing and also a 10-minute break with a healthy snack. Participants will learn to:
* View falls and fear of falling as controllable
* Set realistic goals for increasing activity
* Change their environment to reduce fall risk factors
* Promote exercise to increase strength & balance
* Tuesdays 1:00pm-3:00pm
* Session I: March 19th - May 7th
Free to all. Maximum of 12 participants.

This active group of seniors meets every Monday morning from 9:30 am – 11:30 am between Labor day and Memorial Day. Autumn Club members participate in craft projects, parties, social gatherings, bingo, speakers, card playing and more. Come out and join the fun!!!
Senior Drop-In Center
Every Wednesday, from 1 pm to 3 pm you can join this group of seniors. There are games, activities, music, cards, bingo and more to keep you busy all afternoon. So get up, come out and have fun! This is a non-instructional program, but there will be personnel on site.
The Golden Years
This new group will provide positive senior activities at no charge to Bethlehem Township seniors. The Golden Years will meet the 1st Thursday of every month at 2:00pm. Pre-registration is required.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays - 12:15pm- 1:15pm
Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
Wednesdays - 12:00pm- 12:45pm (year round)
Fridays - 1:00pm- 1:45pm (Labor-Memorial Day)
Activate your aqua urge for variety! Splash offers LOTs of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers kickboard is used to develop strength, balance, and coordination.
This program is designed for the active older adult and is done at a much lower intensity. The same great Latin sytles of music and dance are used and just as fun ast he regtular Zumba® classes. Zumba® Gold classes strive to improve your balance, strenght, flexibility and most importantly the heart.
