Group Exercise Classes

AB Lab
Exercises for the torso and abdominal area. Also may include lower back exercises for balance.

Cardio Party
Calorie blasting workout to the hottest music! You will get a total upper and lower body workout while burning calorie and fat. You will have so much fun jumping, kicking, punching and dancing that you won't realize what an awesome workout you will be getting. The moves are fun and easy to follow for everyone!

Fusion Stretch
A flow of yoga, pilates and core strength all with modifications.

Interval Step
This one hour session consists of aerobic step training with intervals of resistance training. This class works all major groups and is designed specifically to improve strength and cardiovascular conditioning.

Kettlebell AMPD
Kettlebell AMPD combines low weight kettlebells with high repetitions as part of a strength-training workout that both fun and challenging. The movements go with heart-pumping music for motivation! This is a whole body workout for both strength and cardio fitness.

Modern Day Warrior
Modern Day Warrior is a complete workout combining a total body strength training workout with cardiovascular and flexibility training. This class will challenge you and improve your strength and overall fitness level. This class is open to students of all abilities. Bring a workout towel and water to class with you.

(Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet) A total body athletic based workout combining intervals of cardio and weights requiring the body to respond to a constantly changing format allowing for ultimate results in minimal time. With an emphasis on music, participants can burn between 750 and 1000 calories in one class.

Tone, Sculpt, & Fit/Body Toning
This class will work your cardiovascular system, burn calories and increase your muscle tone. Classes will include a warm-up, stretching and a cool-down along with upper/lower body exercises as well as abdominals. Proper technique, alignment and breathing will be demonstrated for each exercise. Various equipment will be used including, but not limited to, hand weights, medicine balls, steps and fitness balls.

A style of yoga that integrates Pilates technique with the practice of Hatha, Yoga, this class is designed to give you more rapid and balanced development of the body by focusing on core strength, breath, and alignment.

A fun series of Latin style movements set to music. No need to know how to dance, nor have a partner. Just the desire to have fun and sweat a bit!

Want to burn 500 calories in just 60 minutes? Spinning is the most popular group fitness program in the country. With no complicated moves to learn, a motivating group environment, top-notch instructors an music that begs your legs to pedal, you’ll find yourself having a blast while you ride your way to a leaner, stronger body! Spinning is offered year round.

Co-Ed Volleyball
Mondays: January 22nd - April 9th (more competitive)
Wednesdays: January 24th - April 11th (less competitive)
6:30PM, 7:00PM, 7:15PM, 7:45PM, 8:00PM, 8:30PM
Team Rules
Teams must consist of at least two females
Games will be "normal" co-ed rule
Volleyball Rules: A match will consist of three games to 25 points rally scoring
Up to four teams will be eligible for playoffs
Playoffs will be best of three games to 25 points rally scoring
Co-ed rules: One female must have contact if play consists of more than one contact
Register as a team: $225 per team
Deadline for registration is January 12th

Tai Chi
18 years and older
An introduction to Tai Chi exercise, breathing, and mediation for physical well being. Using techniques from Pai Lum and Yang style. Tai chi will lower your stress and raise your body awareness through smooth, flowing movements. Open to all adult ages and fitness levels. Please wear loose fitness clothing to class.

Small Group Training
18 years and older
Small group training is the newest fitness offering at Bethlehem Township Community Center. Join certified personal trainer, Karla, and 4-6 fellow participants in a 4 week program designed to challenge and gradually advance a specific fitness skill or goal. Enjoy more personalized instruction witha group that is more initimate and goal oriented. This is a great option for those that are looking for an effective, high quality workout that is focused on skill development, motivation and enhanced fitness at a very affordable cost.

Adult Tae Kwon Do
18 years and older
This program will follow traditional Tae Kwon Do classes including knowledge of art and etiuette of the Dojang. Our focuses will include strenght and core training, proper hand and foot techniques and form. Developing respect and self-confidence is a priority. Train for physical fitness or weight loss. You will increase cardiovascular development and improve flexibility while toning your body. Join us a for journey which will make you proud and feel great. This program is designed for all age of adults.

Women Move for Health
18 years and older
This gradual 12 week womens program will help you comfortably progress from the couch to walking, jogging or running at a pace that's right for you. All women who complete the program will be able to participate in the Hanover 5K on Saturday, June 2nd. Topics covered include training principles, injury prevention, motivation, nutrition and much more. Come dressed for activities outside.

$45 - prior to March 15th - Register early and receive a free trial for small group training

Women On Weights - WOW
18 years and older
Whether you are a beginner or advanced weight training participant, this Women on Weights class is designed for you. The training will consist of using weight equipment, core strengthening equipment, interval training and fat burning exercises. This class will increase your metabolism and build lean muscle.

Bootcamp with Amy
18 years and older
A high intensity total body workout that combines strength and endurance through a combination of calisthenics, core work, interval training, plyometric exercises, muscle conditioning and partner drills. Ranging from circuit style that kick starts your cardiovascular fitness to creative muscle building exercises using minimal equipment. Each class will bring its own challenges, no two classes will be the same!

Canvas Painting
Relax while you paint the night away! Create your own acrylic painting on various sized canvases. No experience needed; just be open to a fun night out. Please wear old clothes. Instructions and supplies are included.
